HOME INSPECTION

Using industry standards we offer certified, comprehensive home inspections for home buyers and home sellers. Each home inspection is fully outfitted to include the use of Thermal Imaging.

RADON TESTING

Radon is a radioactive gas that you cannot see, taste, or smell. It is formed in the earth’s crust and seeps through tiny cracks in the foundation into the air we breathe. We offer radon testing to ensure levels are safe according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

AIR QUALITY TESTING

There are many types of fungal materials in your home. It’s important to know what they are and how they affect you. Testing the air you breathe for the presence of mold spores provides peace of mind and clarity for your investment.

1-YEAR WARRANTY INSPECTION

Within the first year of building, improvements and repairs can be made by the builder. We offer a top-to-bottom inspection to give you a comprehensive view of your home’s health so you can address solutions before the end of your warranty.

PRE-DRYWALL INSPECTION

During the home building process, a Pre-Drywall Inspection lets you see aspects of the interior before the drywall goes up. It also gives you a chance to identify problems early on and correct them before the new house is completed.

SEWER SCOPES

Are sinks and tubs emptying too slowly? We use a special camera to scope the sewer line to visualize any blockages that are interfering with the plumbing system’s proper drainage. Finding and addressing such problems now can head off catastrophic and expensive repairs later.

COMMERCIAL INSPECTIONS

Ensure your commercial property meets the building and safety standards. Having your commercial property inspected will help determine and expose any potential issues and concerns that may affect your property’s value.

Common Questions

Home inspections are a vital part of the home buying and selling process but do you know what home inspectors actually do or if a house can even fail a home inspection? Inevitably you have questions about your inspection and what to expect so we’ve put together some of the most frequently asked questions.

Buying a home is the costliest investment most people make. The home is visually inspected inside and outside for defects which could be costly if not discovered in time. The inspection is a limited visual inspection and not technically exhaustive.

We approach a home as a series of systems. Roofing, Exterior, Interior, Heating and Cooling, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural components are thoroughly inspected, and our findings are clearly documented with photos and video. We add a superpower to every inspection by using thermal imaging cameras. This allows us to see potential leaks or electrical issues unseen by the naked eye. We follow our state and national standards of practice to protect everyone involved in the process.

We encourage our clients to be present at the inspection so they can not only experience our incredible service, but so they can have a reference point for where things are in the report. If you cannot make it that is okay! We will set up a time to walk you through the report and explain things as if you were there.

We provide inspection reports the same day as your appointment so you can get the information you need when you need it.

We provide a link for you to pay online. This can be done when you receive your confirmation email or when you receive your report. We also accept checks on site, but do not accept cash.

To perform a full inspection, all utilities must be turned on. If utilities are not one during the inspection, only a partial inspection can be completed, and a return trip is required at an expense.

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers and is prevalent in the Appalachian area of the country. For more information see what our friends at Airthings have to say. Curious about your radon levels? Schedule a test with your home inspection here!

During our inspections, we look for the presence of fungal material and seek to find the origin of that material. We will make note of it in the report and we off air quality testing and mold surveys where we can take physical swabs or air samples to determine what types of fungal growth are in your home. Our trusted lab will analyze the samples and provide a clear report so you know what is inside your home.

Get the right perspective before you buy.

If you are buying or selling a home, we educate and alleviate fear so you can take that next step with confidence.
