Ben did a great job - very thorough, very professional and detailed. I really liked the layout of his report and was glad that he was able to accommodate a sewer scope as well - I was concerned that I was going to have to hire a 2nd inspector, but Ben was able to do both - so that saved me time and money. Old Towne Inspections has been a superb company to have working for us. Ben Moorehead is a very accomplished and professional home inspector. His capacity to look at the house as if under a microscope, seeing past the surface appeal to the underlying structural components and exterior envelope. ( roof, flashing, gutters, siding etc.) Having him check for excess levels of radon was a significantly wise decision as he did find levels that would need to be mitigated to bring down the radon to EPA acceptable levels. He recommended another company to install a radon exhaust fan who responded quickly. In the end we can now comfortably buy and move in with no radon worries. In life very little comes free. ( except salvation through faith in Jesus of Nazareth.) Our decision to hire OTI/Ben was well worth the investment made!
